If you could "shadow" a celebrity (any type: author, actress, singer, politician ...) for a week, being that person's assistant and seeing what they really did, whom would you pick?
Give me an idea for an SDK/Terry Pratchett crossover: who goes to which world, and whom do they meet?
You yourself are transported to another world and become something non-human! Where do you go, and what do you become?
It's 10 years from now, and you're about to receive an award for your work ... the awards ceremony is televised, too! What award are you receiving, and what do you wear to receive it?

1. Tricky...very tricky. I'm gonna give two answers: a light hearted one and a serious one. I would follow Lady Gaga to try and get inside her head. But then I would also like to shadow Gordon Brown to see what the heck he is actually doing with all our money and see if I can suggest anything to him to try and save the UK from becoming a Conservative dumping ground.

2. Lovely! I would like to see Yuki, Kyo, Yuya and Hotaru land in Ankh-Morpork and they meet the Watch, namely Vimes, Nobby, Carrot and Colon. And maybe a couple of wizards and the Librarian. Oh...too many characters....

3. Many many places! But I think Middle-Earth and an Elf. Or, Ankh-Morpork as a Black Ribboner Vampire from Uberwold.

4. An Oscar! And I'll be wearing something from Marc Jacobs (haha! Right....) But, a Nobel Laureate for my books. And I aint gonna lie to my fans *either film or books* I'm a sloppy person by nature so a good pair of jeans, a smart in-fashion tshirt and a new pair of comfy shoes, most likely trainers or Converses or Timberland boots. OR! If I'm REALLY fortunate, maybe a pair of thigh high boots. *nods*

My uncle in Canada has just made me a proposition: in 2011/12, would I like to fly out to Canada to babysit my then 7 year old cousin for 3 months?
Yes, MONTHS, not weeks.
By that time I will be 19/20, have hopefully finished my 3 years at college and have saved up enough to live there for that amount of time.

Damn Flu Jag. Making me feel like I'm going to be sick.
It was funny, getting the invitation to an Open Day at my tiny Richazie surgery. So me and my mum (who has to get it because of her Lupus) decided to head down early. We go in and the place is packed! Every seat taken with people between 50 to 190 and with standing room only. It was strange being the only 17 there to get the jag (it's not the H1N1 (Swine Flu) jag, just normal flu) Standing in a hot and cramped waiting room for 45 minutes is not fun, made worse when the jag makes you feel like you do actually have the flu...

A few rants, skip over if you don't want to read.
It's college. To get to the HNC level we *have* to be assessed. It's not the best thing, but stop complaining! We know it's shit! But please! Grow the fuck up. For all of those who didn't bother to get Higher English, you must sit Lit and Comms, because as an actor you have to be able to read more then the lines in front of you. So quite your complaining Todd. And for those who have a free twitter and have had a religious 'advert' thrown at you? Again, get over it, freedom of speech and all that palava.

Hospital 2. Don't worry, it's GREAT news!

I went. All on my lonesome and ended up with the Head of Department (the ACS - Assisted Contraception Services. I got some funny looks, being only 17...) *smiles*

It was a short, sharp and to the point session, lasting three minutes maximum, wherein I was told that I do not have full blown PCOS, that I have a mild case. I don't have the three signs suggesting that I have it:
1) irregular or non-existant periods
2) High Androgen levels
3) Cysts or growths on my ovaries.

I never went for a scan of my ovaries because my androgen levels are completely normal. At best they said I have a 'Mild Case' because of my Insulin Resistance which will go away once I reach a desirable weight, which I will continue visits to my GP to monitor. I was also told that I do not need to keep taking my Metformin or Tanexamic Acid pills once I had reached that desired weight. All my questions were answered so I can sleep peacefully.

However, my Dad does not seem happy with the way that I've been treated at this department. When I told him, he seemed to get really peed off because at my last visit I was told that I had it. Now I only have a mild case. I get so angry at him sometimes. Can't he just be happy that I don't have to go back there in the forseeable future? Or maybe he was just angry before I got home? *sighs* that's family for you.

But I'm happy now! *curls around teddy bear*

To Chomiji. Thank you for the >hugs!< I really needed them. It seems like I won't be writing off my fertility for now. All I need to do is find a way of not being depressed or embaressed about my excessive hair or looks. It has got me down in that past but as your article said, the hair growth stops when the weight gets off. But it will always be thick, so Electrolosys here I come *grins* Thank you.

It's my day off tomorrow. I have to go to the hospital, hopefully for the last time until I want to get pregnant or something else goes wrong with my ovaries.
It's my first time going by myself, so I'm a little nervous. I have so many questions like whether I'm infertile or not (a little grown up but I think I would like kids) and why I'm only getting PMS on my left side and not my right (this questions could lead to a scan of my ovaries...) and how serious is my PCOS?

I just hope that I can remember all my questions. This illness is such a pain!

College day 4

Friday. Acting for two hours, lunch, then Lit. and Comms.

Someone, student or teacher, poured something into the swimming pool and it reacted to the chlorine and created a gas. Thus the police and fireservice people all over the college campus so class didn't start till...oh maybe, half 10. No monologue. *screams* just fun games ^^ and we got our first piece of homework: a 300 word min essay on jobs in the performing arts sector and how to find them.

I almost didn't make it to Lit and Comms. We found our way to 6/5 (Level 6 room 5) and waited for half an hour. Most of us wanted to go back to the Residential Halls because we thought they had forgotten about us. But the teacher found us and we were led to 4/1. Lit. is all about reading, writing and analysing text. Lovely. Comms is...communication. We had 2 minutes to prepare a 1 minute talk about ourselves to present to the class. I was last, but got the biggest applause *grins* I was sooo nervous but once I got started I managed to fill the whole minute! I might not even need to sit Comms because I already have Higher English at a C. But maybe I should take it? What do you think? Lit is compulsary.

College day 3

Classes start at 12. So I got time to reply to my mails that morning. *ish happy* and sleep in *ish even happier*

So I get in around 11:15 and wait. At 12 we all shuffle into the Culture Room for voice only to be told that the Drama department is having an emergancy meeting and to come back in half an hour. Fine with me, off to the library. We come back at half past 12...well, I get ahead of everyone else and poke my head around the door to find that they are still talking. We're then told to just keep on waiting so we all vanish off for lunch which should have been at 1.Along comes 1 o'clock and we're told "Go for lunch"...so we've just had a two hour lunch. Lovely ^^

From 2 to half 4 was Theatre History. We discovered that theatre came from the celebrations of Dynosus (Greek God of Wine, might not be spelling it right...) and that Comedy was to celebrate his rebirth with wine and Tragedy was to mourn his passing for the year. We then read out aloud some of the first ever full play that we have from the Greeks. The first murder play ever written which is very long and sometimes slow. But it's well written.

Thursday is my day off. No need to tell you that I'm absolutly exhausted and slept late, then slept some more...

Friday is a 10 o'clock start with 2 hours of Acting (Monologue, finally) then lunch and then Communication and Lit. which I might not need to take. Oh happy day.

College day 2

Day two and OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! *goes limping around the flat* Guess what? Most of us are still sore from the 3 hour workout yesterday. Most of us were in extream pain in the thigh area. Even after a hot bath the night before I still woke up with sore thighs which made the ten minute walk down High Street 20 minutes long. Good thing I left early then.

Okay, Acting at 10 to 12. Didn't need my monologue till Friday! Wonderful, I ran my butt off memorising this monologue only to learn that I have another week to learn it? *sighs* anyway, a good game of BANG! Was a great warm up along with Walkabout. We then (this seems to be a recurring theme) got into groups and used our bodies to make the words "Love" and "Hate". Then we used a tablue (Freezeframe picture) to show "Hunger" "Hate" and "Faith" So again we are all in pain after those two hours.

Lunch then at 1 till 3 was Drama Performance Skills which is the technical side of things. We had to, in our groups, devise an improvisation on drinking. Me being the quirky one of the group managed to get a few laughs out of our audience because of the tension Todd was creating with Robert. Lovely. Debbie (lecturer) then takes out the 'main character' or the most important person in the improv' to see how the rest act. I took on main role and combined my character with Todd's, managing to keep the story going nicely. During break, Debbie comes up to me and says "Your vomiting skills are exceptional" So that was me happy for the day.

Voice...we read out 9 poems that make Debbie cry. When I read out the first few lines of "Warning." by Jenny Joseph Gemma asked if we had to carry on with "that accent" Debbie said that she could if she wanted, so Gemma put on a pretty good English accent and again we were both praised by Debbie for putting on accents. That was when Alex stepped in and told the class that my accent wasn't put on. So another good laugh all around at my expence at Gemma's face when she realised I was English. *grins* We have homework: bring in a poem or lyrics that mean something to you. I'm bringing in "Mice" by John Burnside.

Make up was really an introduction as to who wears it and to what purpose. We discussed Goths, amazingly enough, and how they could be seen as 'romantic' in a sense that they feel like they don't belong and etc. I never thought of Goths that way, so the next time I see a Goth I'll smile and say hi.

Home time. *nods* the walk up the hill that is High Street, was made easier by the fact that I wasn't alone. Kyle gets the train from the station a block from my bus stop so now it looks like we'll be walking that hill together for the next 3 or so years. Lovely.

It's Wednesday today (I'm not implying that you don't know the date XD) which means classes start at 12. So an hour of Voice, lunch, then from 2 till 5 is Theatre History. So a day with Debbie ^^ I'll tell you how that goes.

Day one of my NQ (National Qualification) and I'm as sore as hell.
10 to 12 was Movement, where we had to make the first four letters of our name with our bodies ^^ And since I've decided to have myself called Bec, I had to spell B.E.C.W. It left marks on my bum. Ow.

From 12 to 1 was an hour of dance, in which we focused on Jazz whiched caused me to stick to the performance matts with sweat. When I sat back up again I could HEAR the sound of my clothes peeling off the matts. Ewww the sweat...*shudders*

Literature was moved to friday with Communications. Literature and Communications is the same as Higher English, which I already have so I may not need to do it. Great! But I will probably sit through it if they will let me.

Tomorrow is 2 hours of Acting then another 2 hours of Performance skills (Production skills like lighting etc) an hour of voice and another hour of Stage Makeup. Which sounds wonderful.

Okay, hello there, I'm back. *grins*

My computer is still...correction, my external monitor that I need is broken and it doesn't look like I'll be getting a new one anytime soon so I'm left with my mummy's laptop. *nods*

Mull (holiday) even though it's very north Scotland which is ment to be really wet and windy, turned out to be very sunny on some days. Put it this way: I have a tan.

College starts tomorrow. On enrollement last wednesday we all met our Acting teacher Stephen who told us that we were going to be focusing on audition techniques first so we are all going to perform our audition monologues to the class of around 40. Trouble was that my new found friends Leanne and Alex had their monologues taken off them at the audition and I've...'lost' mine. Truth is that I don't want to perform my monologue in front of the class because I have actually forgotten it and I don't feel comfortable with it. It wasn't my best acting experiance yet and it was a means to an end. But Stephen has told us that if we don't have it/forgotten it/want to change it then we can. So I am. I'm using Marilyn Monroe's monologue/dialogue from "Some Like it Hot" about tenor sax and why she is not very bright (the character, not Marilyn)

And today we discovered that our beloved pet hamster, Sakura, died. She was 3 years old. R.I.P

Oh and has any HOTMAIL users got this mail with the subject "ENTER LOGIN DETAILS OR LOSE ACCOUNT"? I was initially shaken at first then laughed out loud at the fact that it was blocked by the anitvirus. Funny funny ha ha.

My computer is broken! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Okay, that was overdone, but I'm managing with my Mum's computer which is now rationed. But I can live because I'll get it fixed soon. Hopefully.

Anyway, next week I'm away on holiday to the very north island of Mull for a week with no connection to the outside world...maybe. My exam results come out the week and I have signed up to get them texted to me on the day but if there is no reception then I'm fudged. But it's no big deal, maybe not....

But my holiday...I have to leave at 5 in the morning on Saturday to make the ferry at 9 in Oban. Great. But hopefully I'll get a post card out to friends...whoever remains my friend ^^

Book Signing happiness ^^

I went to one of my local Boarders today for a talk/book signing by Cassandra Clare and fellow authoress Sara Reese Brennan of their new books: "City of Glass" (Clare) and "Demon Lexicon" (Brannan) . I haven't yet purchased "Demon Lexicon" but I managed to get "City of Glass" signed and now I can finally get down to reading it. Getting it signed was like closure for the trilogy. I seemed to be the only person out of about 60 who got "Team Raphael" writen on my page. I love that vampire.
I think it's worth the 45 minutes wait and the extrodinary heat ^^.

Family huh?

It hurts to know that your own family is falling apart internally.
It hurts to know, that your Dad says things to stand up for me, my brother and other smaller members of my family, only to be disrespected by his mother and father in-law. My own Gran and Papa.
It hurts to know that a beloved cousin, a more loved brother and you yourself have been used as scapegoats for those two grandparents and the afore mentioned cousin's mother because of their own 'issues'.
To be told that you have to behave in a certain way, to those 'Grand Parent's' expectations, so much so that you act against the way that you were raised and the way you've chosen to be...

I have just discovered many things about my Gran and Papa that I didn't want to know...but now I do...now I have to wonder if I can consider them family at all. They have hurt my Father so much...HOW THE FUCK COULD THEY!

Bomb scare 2

Today I finally went out into town, only to find a block of Sauchiehall Street taped off with Police tape. I stood with the early commuters, watching a Forensic photograph this cardboard box in several different positions, swab it, and then pack it away.

That's the second time that street's had a bomb scare, the first was last year in front of pizza hut on the block further down.

I'm just waiting for something to happen.
